At Charity Meals, we believe that every child should have the access to healthy and nutritious food. The school is the perfect place to engage with the most vulnerable children whose home situation means they return at the end of the day faced with empty cupboards and nothing in the fridge. We have made a pledge to make sure we can feed these children with healthy and nutritious food at school by taking free school meal donations, for both the UK and in poorer developing countries.

Healthy School Meals

Charity Meals is committed to providing nutritious school meals to help feed hungry children in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Our aim is to ensure that children have access to healthy and nutritious food, which is essential for their growth and development.

In many of the countries that we work in, children do not attend school regularly due to hunger and malnutrition. Poverty and hunger prolong the despair that many of these children feel in their communities. Something as simple as a daily meal at school can mean the difference between a child working towards escaping the poverty cycle or getting stuck in it.

A free school meal will feed a child, fuelling them with energy to concentrate in learning new skills, providing them with hope for a brighter future.

Just £1 a day will pay for school meals for a hungry child. You can also donate food to the poor on behalf of someone as a gift.

Feeding Initiatives

Whether overseas or in the UK, Charity Meals works with local partners and communities to implement sustainable school feeding programmes.

We source locally produced food for poor people where possible, supporting the local economy whilst providing fresh and healthy meals to the community’s school children.

In addition to providing meals, we also educate children and their families on the importance of nutrition and healthy eating habits.

This helps to build a foundation for a healthier future and promotes self-sufficiency within the communities we serve.
